Dear Speakers,

on this page you will find some useful information regarding your participation in the Port&ShippingTech International Conference scheduled for October 15th – 17th 2025. The event will take place at the Porto Antico Congress Center in Genoa.

SPEECH 

Speech type and length

  • Speeches can be of three types.
  • Institutional speeches are generally short and scheduled at the beginning or at the end of the session.
  • Round tables are panel discussions starting from one or more questions that the chairman asks the participants. Presentations should not be provided.
  • All other speeches are 10 minutes long and, in these cases, speakers are allowed to use a Power Point or PDF presentation (for more information on the presentation, please see the “Presentation” section below). Keynote speeches opening the conference sessions can be 12 minutes long.
  • It is strongly recommended to comply with the agreed time frames to give all the speakers the opportunity to present their contents.

Presentation

  • If the speaker decides to use a Power point / PDF presentation, a maximum of 10 slides is recommended.
  • For the best slide projection during the event, we recommend setting your presentation up for 16:9 – 1920×1080 format.
  • The speaker can add the event logo to the presentation. It can be downloaded here: https://2025.pstconference.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/LOGO-PST-positivo-2025-700×396.png
  • Please, send the presentation as a Power Point or PDF file by October 10th, for backup purposes. Any video embedded in the presentation must be sent as a separate downloadable file.
  • We kindly ask the Speakers to bring their presentation on a USB pen drive anyway. Those who will not send the presentation by the aforementioned date will necessarily have to bring the material on a USB pen drive.
  • The presentations will be published on the event website as Conference Proceedings. If you do not want your presentation to be published or if you wish to provide a different version from the one used during the event, please inform the Organizing Secretariat by October 21st.

IN-PERSON PARTICIPATION

  • The event will take place at the Porto Antico Congress Center (Via Magazzini del Cotone, Block 10, Genoa).
  • It is strongly recommended to arrive at the location of the event at least 30 minutes before the session starts.
  • We kindly ask you to bring your presentation on a USB pen drive.

PHOTOGRAPHIC AND AUDIO-VIDEO IMAGING

  • Photographic and audio/video images will be taken during the event. Participating implies giving permission for the imaging.
  • Recordings of the sessions will be available after the event in the Replay section of the website. Recordings of the individual speeches will be available only to event partners.
  • Photographs will be available in the photo gallery on the event Facebook social media channel (link in the “Communication” section below).
